In the original design the first 8ft were gonna be used as a shed/storage area, but after many nights of enjoying a few cold ones out there, its been determined it works much better as a front porch for now, and it does face west to enjoy some wonderful Arizona sunsets.
Now I just gotta figure out what to do with the other 256 square feet, which is smaller then then most folks family rooms. However it's still about four times larger then what I am accustomed too. Plenty more then what I need.
Ginger wondering why the hikes have took such a dramatic decline.
Thanks for visiting! Good Day!
A nice little kitchen, bedroom and a nice sitting room would fill that space up nicely and not be cramped. Oh and a small bathroom.
ReplyDeleteHey Jo Kinda my thoughts as well One main room then a small bathroom, and sleeping quarters
DeleteI love the front porch - great idea! I think I'd want a studio apartment type room, all in one with no walls, then an area that could be used for a "bathroom" and storage area that would be separated by a wall. Are you doing a lot of research on-line to see what other people have done? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Barb. Like that idea as of right now my plans changing. If I Spent as much time working on the container, as I do researching plans for it I could have built a few of them:).
DeleteI read all your posts but keep quiet. I am fascinated by your new home. You need to have a house warming party ;-) Happy for you. Congrats!
