Memory foam

Already 3 1/2 a months in Tucson, which as far to long for any nomad to linger in one spot, but the downtime, and living free rent has allowed me to save a few bucks, and let me work on my list of much needed upgrades. Well worth the wait in my opinion. More solar, more batteries, and finally getting rid of all those lil green cylinders.

Solar's been been working great haven't had to use the generator since the install back in November. Until maybe today, when the weather went from sunny, and 80 to cloudy, and 60, but ill take it over the so called polar vortex that looms over the rest of the country.

After sleeping on a popped air mattress, or basically a piece of plywood  for over a year. Finally decided to pull the trigger, and purchased me a queen size 3 inch memory foam mattress topper. Some may think queen size is a bit overkill, but hey it fits!

Candy concurs memory foam kicks the heck out off a plywood any day of the week. That's it for now. Thanks for visiting! Good Day!

  3. Drove past you Turtle Thur. or maybe it was Friday and all I saw was Candy looking out the windshield and your top wasn't open so I figured you must still be sleeping. So I didn't stop.
Memory foam is great stuff. No wonder you were still sleeping. :)

  6. Sleep is a wonderful thing and when you are comfortable - WOOHOO!! Glad Candy agrees with your investment in the Turtle. My investment last year was a down comforter (got it used, of course!) to go on the bed - and talk about sleeping good! I have cats and that is where they are during the day! Of course, we get cold here in WNC... Have rain here the next few days. The groundhog said we have winter here the next 6 weeks. Bummer, but it is only February. Enjoy that new bed of yours.

  8. the material was tried for use by hospital patients. Because some of these patients stayed in bed for very long periods of time, even extending to months or years, they experienced great stresses on their bodies.HQ
