Spigot

Finally after many months of living outta buckets and gallon jugs. I finally got running water in the home. The maze of hot and cold water lines has been run through the interior walls, which worked out great lot less worry of the pipes freezing this winter. The outdoor spigot will make watering the future garden much easier, the current experiment in gardening hasn't turned out so well :). Too much time building the home and not paying attention to the plants is my excuse for now. Heres a few more pics.....

Future shower is ready for the stall just need hot water
The maze of pex tubing running through the walls supplying water to kitchen, bathroom shower and sink.
Future home of the kitchen sink

The 1100 gallon beast will supply the system. My neighbor filled it this time, but will have a water catchment system installed one day.
Some new neighbors in the hood
Ginger still determined to get that dam bunny living under the container.

Thanks for visiting! Good Day!

  3. That is great your really getting it together. Question been on my mind for a while, How do you keep that water tank from freezing in the winter? Will you cover it with some sort of insulation? Gathering all the facts for maybe the future.
I'd much rather have a rabbit under than the snake I saw slither under mine this morning. I know it wasn't a rattler but I don't care I hate those things.

    1. Hey Jo! Something that size will just never freeze. The place I got it said anything over a thousand gallons will have no problems. My neighbors is only 300 and they never have a problem.

Lol never see much for snakes here only a few in the spring and fall its like they come out to eat after and before a long sleep
